Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Yes there are telephones and a fax machine. There is even a local Pay-As-You-Go Cell phone for convenience. It's an inexpensive way to call to, and receive free calls from the States. It's also the only way you can call another Cell # (0690 exchange) on the Island.  

Yes there is wireless internet access - use the Villa computer or bring your own laptop.

Yes there is American SAT-TV with CNN/HLN, HBO, ESPN, MTV, & NY Networks

If you are one couple and rent at the "One Bedroom" summer rate, yes, you get the whole villa to yourself.

Yes there are air conditioners in both bedrooms, but they are rarely needed or used.

The Island is 220v.   Yes there are 110v transformers in the villa, and Hairdryers.

Yes I allow children.   There is an extra nanny/kids bed in the small upstairs TV room.

There are two master bedrooms. Equal size, both with full   King Beds.   Both with views.

There is plenty of Hot Water and great water pressure for everyone.

There is a personal safe in each bedroom. I've never locked the villa since I've owned it as there is very little to NO crime on the Island.

YES, you can run around the house, lay out on the deck and swim in the pool.....NAKED. The entire house and grounds are private and secluded.   (the #1 most asked question :)

Yes the Stereo system can play throughout the house, all the decks & the pool area.

GSM cell phones work on the Island, I heard Blackberry's are finally working now too.

Gas stove/oven.   All the utensils for cooking and/or throwing a catered dinner party.

SKYPE phones will work on the Villa broadband.   Phone Cards are a cheap way to call the States as well, and can be purchased at the Gas Station and Internet shop in Gustavia.

There are plenty of Beach Chairs & towels and usually an umbrella on hand to use for a day at the beach.

There are minimal mosquitos most of the year due to the high up villa location & breeze..

The currency is EURO's, but U.S. Dollars are accepted everywhere.   There are ATM's in Gustavia at the various banks.

Yes, Passports are required to enter St. Barth's.
